Ayr gets go-ahead

This afternoon’s meeting at Ayr goes ahead after they cancelled their planned precautionary inspection.

Clerk of the course Emma Marley was due to assess conditions at 7am but she called off that check after seeing less rain than forecast overnight.

The going at the Scottish venue is currently described as soft.
