Doncaster passes inspection

This afternoon’s meeting at Doncaster goes ahead after officials cancelled their planned inspection.

Clerk of the course Gemma Charrington had planned a precautionary check at 7.30am but the inspection was not needed after all.

She said: “We brought the inspection forward and then cancelled it.

“It got down to minus 1.5C overnight but it hadn’t got in at all under the covers and when we pulled them back, there were no problems at all.”
