Wincanton gets green light

This afternoon’s meeting at Wincanton goes ahead after the track passed a 10am inspection.

Clerk of the course Barry Johnson held an initial inspection at 8am but with some areas of the track still unraceable, he called a second check.

He said: “We’re on, we’ve passed the second inspection and there are no problems.”
