Ludlow inspect ahead of this afternoon's fixture
Officials at Ludlow have called an inspection for 9.30am ahead of this afternoon’s meeting.
The Shropshire venue experienced a colder than expected night and clerk of the course Bob Davies reports parts of the track to be frozen.
He said: “We were only forecast minus 1C or minus 2C overnight but we actually got down to minus 5C.
“We’re not raceable at present as there are some frozen bits on the track so that’s why we’re inspecting.
“The forecast is for a mostly sunny day with temperatures of 2C to 5C, it’s just a question of how quickly the temperature rises when the sun comes up.”
