Ayr calls Sunday inspection

Ayr will hold an inspection at 8am on Sunday ahead of their afternoon meeting.

Clerk of the course Emma Marley had planned to check conditions at 11am on Saturday, but she has cancelled that inspection after conditions improved.

She said: “I walked the track this morning and it is raceable now so we have cancelled the inspection.

“The forecast is for minus 2C overnight so we will have a look in the morning. The take-off and landings will be covered as will all vulnerable areas.”
