Warwick meeting gets green light

Friday’s meeting at Warwick is set to go ahead after the track passed an inspection this morning.

Clerk of the course Andrew Morris reports the track to have completely thawed following the recent cold snap and no further problems are anticipated ahead of the meeting.

He said: “We were very close to being fit yesterday afternoon and the temperature remained above freezing all night with a low of 3C, so it has continued to thaw.

“The track is now fully raceable and temperatures are forecast to stay above freezing until after racing tomorrow.”
