Weather claims Punchestown card

Tomorrow’s meeting at Punchestown has been cancelled with the course unfit for racing due to snow and frost.

The decision was taken following a course inspection by Turf Club officials this morning.

The fixture, featuring the Grade One John Durkan Chase, was originally scheduled for December 5 but that too fell to the weather, as did another attempt to stage the high-class card last Thursday.
