Noel Fehily would like to be back in the saddle at least a week before his intended ride on Kauto Star in the William Hill King George VI Chase on St Stephen's Day.

Fehily has been the main beneficiary of Ruby Walsh’s broken leg but then suffered his own misfortune at Newbury last week.
