Back aiming to lead Drinmore pack

Back Of The Pack bids to continue her climb up the fencing ladder when she tackles the Bar One Racing Drinmore Novices’ Chase at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

The eight-year-old mare, trained by Colin Kidd, takes on some classy rivals after completing a hat-trick in a Grade Three contest at Cork nearly four weeks ago.

Kidd believes conditions will be in her favour and has high hopes of a big run.

“The weather forecast looks good which is great, because we don’t want too much rain,” said the Co Carlow handler.

“We will bring her away for another gallop and fingers crossed, we will give it a right go at Fairyhouse.”
