Cheltenham on Load agenda

Loosen My Load is on course for the Independent Newspaper Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham on Sunday.

Trainer Henry de Bromhead reports the six-year-old to be in good shape ahead of a possible tilt at the Grade Two contest.

Loosen My Load would take a 100% record over fences to Prestbury Park having won his first three starts over the bigger obstacles, the latest coming at Punchestown last month.

“We’re hoping to go to Cheltenham with him. He’s entered for Sunday, so that’s the plan at the moment,” said the County Waterford-based handler.

“He seems in great form. He worked well the other day and we’re happy with him.”
