First In The Queue takes Lingfield prize

A victory at the Galway Festival would have been rather more enjoyable than one on a quiet afternoon at Lingfield but connections of First In The Queue had to settle for the latter.

Sylvester Kirk took his three-year-old over from Lambourn to Ballybrit a month ago hopeful of a decent showing in one of the minor handicaps but despite being sent off the 3-1 favourite, he made little impression there.
