Crow handed seven-year disqualification

Scottish trainer Andrew Crow has been warned off for seven years and fined £5,000 by the British Horseracing Authority.

At a hearing yesterday, the disciplinary panel found the Jedburgh-based handler guilty of not vaccinating horses for equine influenza.

He was also found in breach of the rules of racing relating to the forging of vaccination entries.

Crow’s disqualification is effective from today and he has seven days to consider an appeal.
