Roger Charlton maintained his excellent summer strike-rate by landing the opening race of the 2010 Newmarket July Festival.

The master of Beckhampton started the day with seven winners from 18 runners over the last fortnight and Folly Bridge (17-2) was the only horse he entered for the meeting in the Champagne Lanson EBF Fillies' Handicap.
