Sarafina and Rosanara gave owner the Aga Khan and trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre a one-two in the Prix De Diane (French Oaks) at Chantilly.

The winner, ridden by Christophe Lemaire, stretched her unbeaten record to three with a smooth success.

Valasyra did her job as pacemaker for her two stablemates in great style before Zagora made a bid for glory early in the straight while Deluxe found trouble towards the inside.

The main action was towards the centre of the course where Sarafina burst through to lead a furlong out and score cosily from Rosanara.

Sandbar did her best to trouble the front two but had to settle for third place.
