Bay wins Prix Ganay at Longchamp
Andre Fabre’s Cutlass Bay maintained his unbeaten record in impressive style in the Prix Ganay at Longchamp.
Racing in Group One company for the first time, Maxime Guyon was always in the perfect position on the Godolphin-owned colt and only one result ever looked possible.
He set off in pursuit of Shalanaya in the straight and despite hanging into that rival, he ended up winning cosily.
His three-year-old career was cut short by injury but, on this evidence, he has a big season ahead of him.
