Rookie handler Mahmood Al Zarooni found a sleepy Wednesday afternoon at Pontefract an ideal opportunity to send out his first British winner for Godolphin.

The Dubai native was last month handed the golden ticket at Sheikh Mohammed's globally-decorated operation when promoted to second trainer behind Saeed bin Suroor.
