War of Attrition could go for Gold Cup

Mouse Morris is favouring a tilt at next Wednesday’s Punchestown Guinness Gold Cup for War Of Attrition as his stable star prepares for his final racecourse appearance.

The 2006 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner also holds an entry in the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle on Thursday week, but Morris feels the chase, which War Of Attrition also won in 2006, could prove the easier option.
