Warwick gets green light

This afternoon’s meeting at Warwick goes ahead after the track passed a 7.30am inspection.

Six millimetres of rain fell at the venue overnight and while the ground is heavy, soft in places, clerk of the course Andrew Morris is satisfied with conditions.

He said: “The track is currently raceable and it has stopped raining now.

“There is the possibility that we may have to take out a couple of fences but we will make that decision nearer the time.

“We’re happy for racing to go ahead though.”
