Waterlogged Sandown abandoned

Officials at Sandown have been forced to abandon tomorrow's meeting with the course waterlogged in places.

Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper on Wednesday called a 3.30pm inspection for this afternoon due to the threat of further rain but has been able to make an early decision with conditions showing no sign of improvement.
