Fakenham check again

This afternoon’s meeting at Fakenham is subject to a further check at 10am.

Officials called an inspection for 7am but after overnight snow a decision was taken to look again. However there is no frost in the ground.

“We’ll look again at 10am as we had quite a lot of snow last night,” said clerk of the course David Hunter.

“We’ve got no frost though so we are hopeful.

“The temperature is due to rise to four or five degrees and maybe even a bit more so we’ve got a good chance but we aren’t out of the woods yet.”
