Jockey killed in tragic accident to be laid to rest

A young jockey killed in a riding accident in Co Carlow on Tuesday is to be laid to rest today.

Twenty-one-year-old Ronan Lawlor was training at stables in Leighlinbridge when he was flung against a fence by his horse.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Lazerian's Church in the town at 2pm today.
