Monday meet at Fakenham to go ahead

Fakenham have scrapped plans for an inspection on Sunday and will go ahead on Monday as scheduled.

Clerk of the course David Hunter had announced an 8am check tomorrow as the track was not quite fit for racing upon inspection on Friday.

That will no longer be necessary however, after a mild night in Norfolk.

Hunter said: "We're not going to bother having any more inspections as there are no problems.

"The frost and snow are out of the ground so it's very good news."
