Fairyhouse in doubt

Fairyhouse will inspect at 11am this morning ahead of their New Year’s Day meeting.

The course is currently waterlogged and unfit for racing.

Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said: “They will make a decision at 11am.

“The course is currently unfit for racing and the forecast over the next couple of days is horrendous.

“It looks like they may cancel and look for another day to race.”
