Limerick gets go-ahead, chase races in danger
Today’s hurdling and bumper action at Limerick has been given the go-ahead - but the two chase races are still in jeopardy.
Sub-zero overnight temperatures meant an 8am inspection was required, from which the outcome was generally positive.
The chase course, due to stage the final two heats of the day, remains a concern, however.
Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said: “The meeting goes ahead but the chase track is currently unraceable.
“The situation is being monitored.”
