Leopardstown have so far escaped the worst of the wintry weather and general manager Tom Burke is confident the big four-day Christmas meeting will kick off on December 26 without any problems.

Leopardstown have so far escaped the worst of the wintry weather and general manager Tom Burke is confident the big four-day Christmas meeting will kick off on December 26 without any problems.

The going at the Foxrock venue is currently soft and with temperatures due to rise on Christmas Day, Burke believes the fixture which will see the likes of Sizing Europe, Tranquil Sea and Notre Pere perform is safe from the elements.
