Bangor call early check
Bangor’s meeting on Tuesday is under threat from frost with an inspection planned for 8am on Monday.
Although the course was raceable on Friday there was a sharp frost overnight and temperatures are forecast to go between minus two and minus four over the next four nights.
Daytime temperatures are set to only be as high as plus one or plus two and there also is the possibility of snow on Sunday.
“We were raceable on Friday but we had a frost overnight and the forecast is for more frosts over the next few nights,” said clerk of the course Ed Gretton.
“We should be able to assess the situation on Monday morning.”
