Ladbroke top weight for Tasheba
Saturday's Sandown winner Tasheba has been handed top weight of 11st 12lb in the Ladbroke at Ascot on December 19.
The four-year-old, trained by Nicky Henderson, has been put up 8lb by the handicapper for beating William Hogarth by a head.
Henderson's also has Stravinsky Dance (11st 2lb) and Gerry Feilden winner Fairyland (10st 11lb) engaged.
Tommy Stack's Perce Rock is also towards the head of the weights (11st 8lb) while fellow Irish entries Silverhand (11st 1lb), Takestan (10st 8lb), Definate Spectacle (10st 8lb) and Arch Rebel (10st 7lb) may take the plunge.
Alan King's smart novice Manyriverstocross has been given 11st but King is favouring a crack at the Challow Hurdle at Newbury instead.
"I was thrilled with Manyriverstocross at Sandown," he told his website, www.alankingracing.co.uk.
"He settled beautifully, got the trip and seemed to love that soft ground.
"The plan is to take in the Challow Hurdle at Newbury on December 29, and then it will be one more run before the two-and-a-half-mile novice hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival."
Other notables include Jonjo O'Neill's Get Me Out Of Here (10st 13lb) who is on a five-timer, Barney Curley's Zabeel Palace (10st 5lb) and Paul Nicholls' Pepe Simo (11st 4lb).
