Last season’s Champion Hurdle one-two Punjabi and Celestial Halo could once again lock horns at Cheltenham after featuring among 10 possible runners in Saturday’s boylesports.com International Hurdle.

Nicky Henderson’s Punjabi is set to have his first start of the season in the Grade Two heat having gone down by a short head to Solwhit on his latest appearance at Punchestown in May.

The Paul Nicholls-trained Celestial Halo has got a run under his belt having landed the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton on his return to action and could be joined by stablemate Oslot.

Greatwood Hurdle winner Khyber Kim could represent Nigel Twiston-Davies, Medermit is an interesting contender for Alan King, while Oliver Brady’s Ebadiyan is the sole Irish entry.

Ashkazar, Cape Tribulation, Secret Dancer and Songe complete the possibles.
