Chepstow passes morning inspection
This afternoon's National Hunt meeting at Chepstow has been given the all-clear following an early-morning inspection.
Although the Monmouthshire venue endured a further 12.5 millimetres of overnight rain, racing goes ahead on heavy ground.
Clerk of the course Tim Long said: "We've had a lot of rain overnight but we're going to race.
"I'll monitor the situation, but it's highly likely we'll omit one or two fences, and probably a flight of hurdles.
"There's still enough decent ground out there for the meeting to go ahead."
