Kyber Kim team take time over next move
Connections of Khyber Kim are in no rush to make any immediate plans following his triumph in the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham last Sunday.
Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge has been a difficult horse to catch right over the past couple of seasons but bounced back to form under a patient ride from Paddy Brennan in the Grade Three handicap.
The trainer’s assistant Carl Llewellyn feels the seven-year-old may prove to be most potent if connections space out his races in the future.
“You would have to say the ride made all the difference to him and he did it well on the day,” said Llewellyn.
“He has come out of the race well but we haven’t made any plans for him yet.
“He seems to be at his best with time between his races and he wants to be fresh, so we’ll see what happens.”
