Dobbs set for spell on sidelines
Pat Dobbs expects to out for at least six weeks after fracturing his forearm in two places in a fall at Doncaster on Saturday.
He sustained the injury after being unseated when his mount Cyflymder was badly hampered after Welsh Emperor lost his action in the early stages of the robinhoodairport.com Conditions Stakes.
Dobbs was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary but later allowed home and he has since seen a specialist.
âIâll be out for between six and eight weeks,â he said.
âIâve got to be back to have another X-ray next Tuesday, but normally they donât have to operate.â
