Moore string in the clear
Stan Moore has received the all clear to resume normal services at his Lambourn stable following a brief outbreak of strangles.
The infectious equine disease was discovered in a filly that had arrived at Moore’s yard at the start of the month and he was unable to move horses in and out of the premises.
But an update on his website www.stanmooreracing.co.uk read: “Once again, our latest set of blood tests have come back clear.
“This has meant that we have finally been given permission from the BHA and Jockey Club Estates to get out onto the gallops (on Monday) afternoon.
“We had the horses out for a very steady canter up the short all-weather and we will soon be back on track, with the horses getting back into full work.”
