Gillies hurt in Aintree drama

Campbell Gillies had to be taken to hospital after a sickening incident at Aintree on Sunday.

The conditional jockey, who is based at Kinross with Lucinda Russell, was in with a fighting chance aboard Lie Forrit approaching the second-last flight of the Liverpool Volkswagen Handicap Hurdle.
