Apalachi chasing National gold

Dessie Hughes is gearing Black Apalachi's campaign around a second attempt at the John Smith's Grand National.

The Co Kildare trainer felt the 10-year-old would have won the Aintree marathon last spring had he not unseated Denis O'Regan when leading at Becher's on the second circuit.
