Look Here to bypass Newmarket for Taylor Stakes

Look Here will bypass two engagements at Newmarket on Saturday in favour of a tilt at the E.P. Taylor Stakes at Woodbine.

Last year’s Oaks heroine has so far failed to get her head in front in four starts this season but came mightily close when going down by just a nose to Doctor Fremantle in the Dubai Duty Free Arc Trial at Newbury last month.

Her trainer Ralph Beckett had been considering a tilt at Saturday’s Champion Stakes or the Pride Stakes on the same card, but she has now made the journey across the Atlantic to contest Saturday’s Canadian Grade One.

“We have taken her out of the races at Newmarket and she’s in Canada now for the E.P. Taylor on Saturday,” said Beckett.

“She’s travelled well and is absolutely fine, so we’re ready to roll again.

“We think the track will suit her so fingers crossed she’ll run a big race.”
