Hasty seeks Sharp redemption
Hasty is expected to put behind her a slightly disappointing last run when she reappears in the Sakhee Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.
The Barry Hills-trained filly was a staying-on fifth in a Doncaster nursery three weeks ago but had beaten subsequent May Hill Stakes winner Pollenator in her previous race at Folkestone.
“She beat May Hill winner Pollenator in a maiden at Folkestone. That form looks very good and I think you can ignore her last run a Doncaster,” said Hills’ son and assistant, Charlie.
“She is a nice filly and has done well.”
Godolphin are also looking for a big run from their representative, Sweet Sonnet.
“Sweet Sonnet ran well last time and she came out of that race in good form,” trainer Saeed bin Suroor told www.godolphin.com.
“She has been pleasing me in her work and looks in great condition.”
