Famous Name could travel to Britain later in the month to have a crack at the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot.

The Dermot Weld-trained four-year-old has enjoyed a superb campaign and was denied a four-timer when running a big race to chase home Aqlaam in the Prix du Moulin at Longchamp last time out.

Weld said: "It looked like a good race and I thought it was an excellent run. He just didn't quite get home. We will certainly have a look at the QEII now."
