The six-year-old won Ascot’s Summer Mile on his penultimate start before finding wonder filly Goldikova too strong in the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.

Joining him on the trip across the Channel is Clive Cox’s Hungerford Stakes winner Balthazaar’s Gift, John Gosden’s Lockinge scorer Virtual, as well as Godolphin inmate Gladiatorus and Summer Fete, trained by Bryan Smart.
