Mulrennan breaks collarbone
Paul Mulrennan was taken to Newcastle General Hospital after breaking a collarbone at Monday's meeting at Gosforth Park.
The jockey was stretchered off the track when All Spin, trained by Alan Jarvis, was hampered and fell four furlongs from home in the Parklands Golfcourse Handicap.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong said: "He's definitely broken a collarbone and is going to be in some discomfort for a few weeks.
"He has gone to hospital for further checks."
