Trainer Richard Guest has had his appeal against a £3,000 fine handed out over the running of Sobers in 2006 upheld.

The disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority cleared Guest of any wrongdoing following the gelding’s run in the Kidzplay “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle at Ayr three years ago, in which he finished fourth under Paul O’Neill.
