Trainer Pat Flynn is targeting further Flat glory with Bahrain Storm before switching his attentions back to hurdling.

The six-year-old enjoyed dual success at the Galway Festival last month, bagging the feature Galway Hurdle before going on to glory in the Guinness Race just 24 hours later.

Bahrain Storm, who is a nine-times winner over obstacles and on the level, has been enjoying a deserved break while Flynn has mapped out his likely campaign.

“Bahrain Storm is back from his break in two days,” Flynn said.

“We’re training him for the Cesarewitch and then we’ll maybe take him for a conditions hurdle or two. Then we’ll lightly race him before heading for the English and Irish Champion Hurdles.”
