Hannon excited by Jet Plane addition
Richard Hannon will have a quality new addition to supplement his already strong squad with J J The Jet Plane set to arrive at his yard.
Formerly trained by Mike de Kock, the South African import performed with credit in the both the Golden Jubilee Stakes and the July Cup before disappointing in the Betfair Cup at Goodwood earlier this week.
He will now join Hannon, who expects him to take up an engagement in the Haydock Sprint Cup on September 5.
âWe expect J J The Jet Plane here next week, and we are all looking forward to him coming,â Hannon told his website, www.richardhannonracing.tv.
âHe was a dual Group One winner in South Africa, and he showed that he was a top flight horse in Britain too when finishing third in the July Cup at Newmarket.
âHe is entered in the Haydock Sprint Cup, and that looks an ideal race for him.â
