Richard Hannon is fast turning the £200,000 Weatherbys Super Sprint into a benefit and registered his seventh success in 18 years as Monsieur Chevalier starred on day two of Newbury’s Dubai Summer Festival.

Hannon threw five darts at the board with the aim of netting the near £100,000 first prize, and the betting public were united in the belief that Royal Ascot fifth Monsieur Chevalier was the horse to side with.
