Broken ankle for Condon
Davy Condon remains in Tullamore Hospital after suffering a broken ankle at Kilbeggan on Friday night.
The jockey – who recently returned to Ireland following a spell as number one rider to Nicky Richards – was taken for X-rays after unseating from Joanna Morgan’s Jawad in the Gigginstown House Midlands National, won by Piano Star.
His weighing room colleague Andrew Thornton was released last night after checks on his neck and back after Strolling Home was brought down in the same race.
Ruby Walsh is expected to be back in action at Tipperary tomorrow after his fall from Luca Brasi.
