Sariska takes Irish Oaks victory

Sariska, trained by Michael Bell and ridden by Jamie Spencer, cruised to victory in the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh today to complete a Classic double.

Having had to battle all the way to deny Midday in the Epsom equivalent last month, it was a totally different story as the even-money favourite sauntered hard-held all the way up the straight to win with her head in her chest.
