Robert Winston has had an appeal against the 10-day suspension he incurred at Musselburgh earlier this month dismissed by the British Horseracing Authority disciplinary panel.

Winston was aboard the third-placed Merrion Tiger in the Fisherrow Handicap but the stewards found him in breach of the rules of racing for failing to ride out when he would have been second.

The disciplinary panel dismissal means Winston will still be banned from July 1-11 inclusive.
