Aidan O’Brien hinted that Yeats may have made his final trip to Royal Ascot after registering an historic fourth victory in the Gold Cup.

The Ballydoyle veteran was visiting the winner’s enclosure at the Royal meeting for the fourth consecutive year when scoring under an emotional Johnny Murtagh - a feat which had never been achieved since the race was first staged in 1807.
