Condon to return to Ireland

Jockey Davy Condon will return to Ireland after his brief partnership with Nicky Richards came to an end.

Formerly number two to Ruby Walsh at the powerful Willie Mullins yard, Condon took over at Greystoke following the retirement of Tony Dobbin.

However, after just one season in the role, Condon is to return to Ireland with Richards in no rush to name his successor.

Condon said: "I really enjoyed my experience over in England and I'm looking forward to returning to Ireland."

The highlight of last season for the pair was Monet's Garden's Grade Two victory in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon.
