Punchestown possibility for Air Force One
Charlie Mann is planning to apply headgear to Air Force One in a bid to calm the chestnut down next time.
After fine seconds in the Hennessy and at Ascot, Air Force One has failed to set the world alight in the King George, Gold Cup and Thursdayās totesport Bowl, when sixth.
A winner at last yearās Punchestown meeting, Mann may try to salvage something from the campaign back in Ireland.
āI hope heāll go to Punchestown,ā said the trainer.
āHeās still slightly buzzy and I might put something on his head next time.
āOn his form with Madison Du Berlais he should have been thereabouts on Thursday so Iām disappointed.
āHeās in the Scottish National and he wants a trip ā heād be ideal for next yearās Grand National but heās probably not quite good enough for the Grade Ones and heāll probably have top weight then.
āIām caught between the sea and the sky really.ā
