Denman bids for Bowl glory

Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Denman will face nine rivals as he bids to regain the winning thread in the totesport Bowl at Aintree tomorrow.

Last year’s Cheltenham victor made a inauspicious return after a spell on the sidelines with a heart problem when a distant second at Kempton in February, but his recent effort behind stablemate Kauto Star was much more like it.
